Frequently Asked Questions
Children’s Services FAQ
Is there a charge for services?
The only services that have a fee for families are the Outpatient Clinic, Today’s Choices and the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).
How will I pay for the services?
We accept most commercial medical insurance plans, as well as State Medicaid (HUSKY A and B).
If you have no insurance, we can tell you how to apply for Medicaid.
If you have no insurance, we have a sliding fee scale which determines how much you can afford per visit.
If you have commercial insurance, you are responsible for co-pays and deductibles although we can arrange for you to make payments over time.
In no case will you be turned away because you are unable to pay.
Do I need to live in a certain town to receive services?
No. Services are available to you regardless of where you live.
Do you serve adults?
We only see adults in relationship to the problems their children are experiencing. We do provide family therapy and parenting assistance but we do not provide therapy for individual adults, marital counseling, etc. Our parent organization, BHcare specializes in behavioral health services for adults.
