Your participation in our Under the Tree Project will brighten the holiday season and create lasting memories for individuals and families struggling with domestic violence, behavioral and mental health issues, and addiction. Your kind gesture will make a difference in the life of another, which could be the change they need to help them heal.

You can help in the following ways:

1) Adopt a client or family! Brighten the holidays by providing a gift(s) for adults and children receiving services through BHcare programs. Two wishes are provided per individual, but we only ask that one wish be fulfilled unless you choose to fulfill both. That decision is up to you. Each wish should cost no more than $50 per item.

To adopt a client or family, email development@BHcare.org with the number of people you would like to support. Gift drop-off will be Tuesday, December 13, with location details sent to each donor. If that date does not work, we can make alternate drop-off arrangements.

2) Under the Tree Online Donation. You can make an online donation toward the purchase of gifts, supplies, or food to meet the specific needs of clients during the holiday season. If we exceed our goal and all needs are met, any additional donations will be used to meet the needs of clients throughout the year. To donate online, please go to: http://weblink.donorperfect.com/UTT2022

3) You can also send a check to BHcare, 127 Washington Ave. 3rd Floor West, North Haven, CT 06473. Please make your check payable to BHcare Foundation. Include “Under the Tree 2022” in the memo.

If you have questions, please reach out to our Development team at (203) 446-9739 x1856 or development@BHcare.org.

A Chance to Shine 2022

Our 2022 A Chance to Shine was a tremendous success! Many thanks to everyone who participated, volunteered and supported our event. Our first unified event to benefit BHcare’s mental health and substance use programs, The Umbrella Center for Domestic Violence Services, the Hope Family Justice Center, the Parent Child Resource Center, and the Alliance for Prevention & Wellness was an inspiring and uplifting day for all. A Chance to Shine raised funds and awareness for our life-saving programs and celebrate the amazing communities we serve from the Shoreline to the Valley. And we’re nearly at our $200,000 goal! There’s still time to give to help us make it: www.achancetoshinect.org.
