Join BHcare’s Domestic Violence Programs and the City of New Haven as we raise awareness, remember victims, and celebrate survivors of domestic violence.

- CELEBRATE SHELTON DAY
On Sunday, October 5, 2025, we will be tabling from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm at the park (near the River Walk on Canal Street, Shelton).
- WEAR PURPLE THURSDAY
On Thursday, October 23, join us in honoring Domestic Violence Awareness Month by wearing purple.
- CUSTOMER APPRECIATION DAY AT MY SISTER’S PLACE
Join us at My Sister’s Place at 380 Main Street in Ansonia from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, where you can enjoy a special 20% discount on your order as a heartfelt thank you for your support.
Community Day of Connection
This event was a success because of you, and we hope you enjoyed connecting with neighbors, local organizations, and the community as a whole.
Thank you for being a Back-to-School Hero!
Because of our incredible donors to our Back-to School program, 165 children started the school year with the supplies and support they need! We’re also distributed 40 filled backpacks to our Clothing Bank in Branford to help even more families in need.
